Kilo is a six month old puppy that has been bounced around by the owner and then hit by a car. She was bought as a gift for her kids then lost her home the next month. Kilo was living with friends for almost a month the owner took her back when she found a place to live but the landlord said no pets so she was trying to hide her when she got loose and hit by a car. She then turned the puppy back over to a friend who had been in contact with us we had her immediately taken to the vets to be checked out. She had a severe laceration on her leg blood in the stool non-weight bearing and extremely painful but was really lucky. After her time at the vets for IV s with pain meds anti-inflammatory lacerations cleaned antibiotics x-rays of back hips legs there are no broken bones so she went back with her foster mom for the night. Kilo is now with us to heal up. Most likely she has some serious bruising with muscle & tendon trauma. ...
