Frances came to our rescue her family arrived at a local veterinarian and asked them to put her down. Untreated allergies had caused a painful skin infection and the pain combined with anxiety led Francis to virtually chew off her own tail. The veterinarian instead started treatment for her allergies skin infections and anxiety amputated her damaged tail and asked rescues to bring her into their family. Because a foster family the stepped right up we were able to welcome her to the MCP rescue pack and Francis is finally on the road to the great life. Her tail wasn t able to come with but eh... Francis is all no tail don t care all up in here. Francis is responding well to her treatments but she will need continued support for her allergies and behavior monitoring to ensure her painful past becomes a distant memory her anxiety is controlled so she never needs to harm herself out of desperation and pain again. ...
