Hershey is an 8-1 2yr old male mini dachshund with a smooth red coat and a graying face. He loves curling up on his designated pillow on the couch with a nice view of everything. No 1 is a stranger to this pup but he is best suited for a home with no little children or big dogs. He s incredibly friendly to adults and loves sniffing your hair. Nice thing he is not known to lick your face At night he sleeps in a crate and loves to burrow under blankets. He is temperamental about his blankets though so it is wise not to reach for him while he is buried as it will startle him. He is crate-trained but with female dogs around he will mark his territory in the house and has been known to have a few accidents. He easily learns commands but they must be used often or he will forget. And Hershey will do just about anything for a treat especially Pup-Peroni. He s crazy about walks but gets so excited he ll pull on the leash. Because of his size walks must be kept short because he ll tire quickly....
