Meet Hops - 1 of the ten miracle siblings who is looking for his forever home RHR rescued Blossom (mom) from Clayton County Animal rescue shelter an overcrowded high kill shelter. Blossom was on the euthanasia list and was hours away from being put to sleep when we were able to contact a rescue partner in Georgia to help get her out of the shelter. We needed a place to board Blossom and get her vetting completed so she could make it to RI. All the vets that our partners would normally use were full so we tried a low cost veterinarian clinic. Blossom was transported to the veterinarian clinic and was given tests and basic vaccinations. We were saddened to find out that Blossom tested heart worm positive and would have to undergo heart worm treatment. As luck would have it an incredible foster family was found and Blossom was soon out of veterinarian boarding and on her way to a lake house in Georgia. ...
