Rachel and Sara came to Sunshine from a Mississippi shelter where they had been dropped by their former owner and were scheduled to be put to sleep. Sara an 8-year old Golden Retriever weighing in at 60 pounds is the more outgoing of the pair. She is extremely affectionate and social. Rachel is her little sister at 44 pounds and is a 10-year old labrador mixture with big lovely eyes that look like she has applied eyeliner While we know very little about their past we know that Sara and Rachel are the most loving bonded seniors you could hope to find. They adore people and belly rubs are a favorite thing They are also nice with other dogs they have met.Rachel was at 1st quite timid but she is coming out of her shell as she settles at our veterinarian clinic. In fact she loved our photographer and warmed right up to her....
