Sad Story . . . . Tomorrow February 24 2016 at 8 a.m. we will be taking this sweet maybe 8 pound adorable dog that has been so neglected for surgery to be fixed and have all her medical needs met. We think she is between 7-8 yrs old and somebody really harmed her. She ended up behind the gate at the shelter because no 1 could touch her. Reason she is potty trained now in isolation not let out to pee. When we got her 3 weeks from when they found her she pooped 8 times in our yard and pee pee at least 20. It was sad. The other horrifying issue is her nails are grown behind her toes and embedded. No wonder no 1 could pick her up. But as usual the minute we picked her up from the shelter all she wanted to do was be in 1 of our laps. It always fascinates me. But then we saw the other issue 1. Skin is deeply infected.2. Back leg may be broken3. Dog has had NO SHOTS4. Need a Blood Work Panel because appears to have malnutrition. ...
