Leyla is a friendly young calico. Wonderful Pets Almost Home was called by a private rescuer to help with an injured cat that she found on the northwest side of Chicago. The cat was injured with several wounds especially on the abdomen area and was missing a 3rd of its tail. The skin and muscle of the tail was gone and just left the vertebrae exposed. We told the private rescuer to take her directly to our veterinarian for immediate care. We have named her Layla. Layla s wounds were addressed and her tail was amputated. Leyla has recovered well and is now available for adoption. If you cannot adopt please donate to help Layla and other homeless cats receive emergency medical care.
