Sawyer has been in foster with a family with three dogs since January of this year. Since arriving he s been changing almost daily calming down revealing new depths to his intelligence and new facets of his personality. This playful exuberant small dog has brought so much love and laughter into the lives of the foster family.Here is the latest update from the foster parents We always knew Sawyer was smart and very affectionate with humans and that he really likes other dogs. Over time we learned what an excellent communicator he is and that he not only likes dogs he LOVES them He s also non-reactive on-leash and calm and appropriate when approached by off-leash dogs. He loves sniffy walks and will follow his nose if you let him but he s also happy to trot along endlessly at your side relaxed and soft-leashed....
