16 year old Appaloosa gelding looking for forever home

Sherman is a 16 yr old registered appaloosa gelding who has been shown hunter under saddle. He was reserve world champion in his early show career. He has now been used for intermediate to advanced lessons as well as teaching beginners basics of walking and steering. I have owned Sherman for 1.5 yrs and he has been nice to ride. I had hoped to show him but was not able to after getting injured shortly after purchase. He was started over fences and seemed to love it He is highly athletic and loves to work. He is not a horse that wants to be loved on. He has been a nice companion to my retired thoroughbred and an easy keeper. He has been worked hard his whole life. I do not have him on any supplements but if his work load were to increase I would suggest looking into one. I would love for him to go to a home with a single advanced rider who wants a horse to train further over small fences. I would not recommend him to a home who wants to use him for constant showing.
