Adopt Birdie a Black - with White Border Collie Mixed dog in Ma

May 16 2016I have a guest staying with me for a couple of months this summer and last night was her 1st night here. I wondered how she was going to like having happy barking dogs waking her at 4 30 in the morning. Looks like she can handle it just fine.Birdie doesn t really bark (like Jax and Tai). Instead she lets out 1 joyful howl in the mornings and is otherwise a pretty quiet dog.Best news is that she is definitely potty trained. There have been no accidents in the house for the past month. I have been keeping her crated during the day when I am not home and let her outside immediately when I arrive. She s been getting happy praise and a small scattering of treats for doing her business outside. Once she understood that the treats came only when she had finished outside the problem was solved. She would waddle over to me her tail singing happily a big grin on her doggie face and expect her treat. So cute....
