Maverick is one of the most sweet most willing and stunning horses we have encountered. If he has any challenges it is only that he prefers to be with a buddy but that could be another horse or a human. He just enjoys and loves company and attention without EVER being pushy or in your space. The moment you come to the pasture he shows delight at seeing you and happily comes over to attention be it a simple pet or a rub. He s just a love. He prefers to go out on rides with another horse and to be in the company of another horse but after awhile if there is no other horse around he adjusts. He s a cute trail horse. Mav as we affectionately call him has mild Cushings and once foundered modestly as a result. Now on a pill a day (about 1.00 per day) he is doing fine and thrives on light pasture or can be in a dry pasture and gets his hay and the daily pill. He s an easy keeper. For riding he needs shoes but otherwise is fine barefoot....
