Joey is a friendly Pharoah Hound mixture who is in need of a new home since his owner relocated. He was born 5 5 13 and has many of the characteristics of the Pharoah Hound who was known as the Dog of Kings as he was their loyal hunting companion. As a hunting breed he needs regular exercise and he walks well on a leash so would be a great running or walking partner. Joey is playful and entertaining and his personality expresses his immense joy of life. He is intelligent and affectionate and enjoys clowning for his people. Joey is not a dog who should be allowed off leash because even if he obeys every recall in a fenced area his prey instinct will be strong and he will claim temporary deafness to your calling him back. Underground fencing is not suitable for this breed and ideally fencing should be 6ft. tall and solid. He would prefer to be an only dog but has not shown aggression towards dogs he meets while walking....
