Hi My name is Sparkles and I am a very lovable Timneh African Grey parrot. I lived with 1 family for 22yrs and then the person I loved the most died unexpectedly. The precious folks at Florida Parrot Rescue took me in and found me a foster mom. I am used to being in a loving home and my foster mom is making me feel so comfortable and welcome.I m now learning to eat a nice healthy diet of pellet and chop. Sometimes I need a little incentive to remind me how nice pellets and chop really are so my foster mom will give me a little sprinkle of seed on top of the chop or pellets.. She is so smart She knows just what I like I will step up and I will also accept tummy tickles and head scritches you just need to pay attention to my body language and make sure that I m comfortable enough to accept them from you. FPR was told that I didn t care for women but my foster mom says that is not what she is experiencing. I do a talk a little bit right now but everyone thinks I say more than I let on....
