Please contact Juli ( -X(at)bwar.org ) for more information about this pet. Arsula about 3yrs young is a shorthaired Tortoiseshell (Tortie) with beautiful markings. Torties are almost always females and amongst cat people (or previous Tortie parents) are known for their quirky funny personalities. Arsula most certainly has that quirky side. She enjoys playing with a variety of toys and catnip is a big bonus She is very affectionate but it needs to be on her terms (that s a Tortie for you ). Arsula initially had an extreme fear of hands and feet but that has eased quite a bit. Still she may swat feet when they came too close to her. She will often ask you to pet her but petting her too much on your terms can sometimes annoy her and she may swat. Because of this occasional behavior it is not recommended that she live with young kids....
