Adopt DixieLee a White Cocker Spaniel Mixed dog in Alpharetta G

Hi my name is Dixie Lee. I am 13 1 2 yr old female American Cocker Spaniel. I am currently on medical hold for a few heart issues I have. I am scheduled to see my cardiologist in mid-April and I ask you to check back on me then to find out more about my heart condition. I should know at that time when I am available to go to my forever home. When I became an Angel I was in pretty bad shape. Along with my heart condition I had some skin conditions which I am also being treated for but my skin is getting much better. I was super skinny weighing in at 18 pounds. With my foster mom keeping me fed regularly on nourishing dog food I am already weighing 20lbs after only a few weeks. An average female American Cocker Spaniel weighs approx 23 pounds. I haven t gotten too many more pounds to gain until I am at the perfect weight. I also have a cataract on my right eye but I still get around pretty great....
