Alondra was rescued from an animal rescue shelter in rural Georgia. She was in the shelter for several months and is happily acclimating to the freedom she now has as an Angels rescued dog. The veterinarian told her foster mom that she is pretty much adult at 60lbs and is about a year old. She is learning household manners and is doing quite well with house breaking. She is not fond of her crate as it may remind her of all those days spent in her cage at the shelter. She still has puppy energy that needs to be directed towards appropriate activities but she responds well to verbal correction. She is a people dog. Her favorite place is to sit or lie next to her foster dad while he is cooking or on the computer. She LOVES to be petted. She gets along well with the larger dogs in the household (70 and 45 ) but is still too active for the 8 dog. Her foster family does not have a cat....
