Horses for the most part are big gentle quiet spirits. They demand respect and love attention. Horses regardless of size age color or breed are majestic animals. There is nothing that forces a 1200 pound animal to do anything their 100 pound person tells them to do. However communication between the human and the horse creates a beautiful team with endless possibilities. Every right thing that a horse does for you is a gift enjoy it to the fullest.We teach riding the old way. Riding is about your hands and your seat and your legs but more than anything it s about trust and communication. It s pretty easy to sit on a horse and trot around an arena but there s a big difference between that and riding. Riding is a partnership that starts with a bond between a human and a horse. Dogs and cats come into your world they eat your food they lie on the bed they ride in the car. Horses are different you have to go into their world.Our trainer is a trainer and teacher of all disciplines 15 years specializing in english as well as dressage and western. She trains both horse and rider in their preferred discipline geared toward the individual s goals. In addition to riding instruction She is available to provide instruction in handling and groundwork trailer loading and trail riding. She teaches you to understand your horse and why he behaves the way he does. She is also an excellent resource for information about tack. Her teaching training methods are patient gentle and effective.The trainer is licensed insured and bonded. Teaches both english and western. These lessons are taught from the ground up with horse and rider safety in mind. Ages 5 and up. Individual riding lessons using our horses as well as lessons for horse owners using their own. This would be a three day a week lease with one day being a weekend day. All tack is supplied.
