It is love at 1st belly rub with this pup. Jean is a sweet trusting affectionate and playful cattle dog. Like most dogs of her breed she has quite a bit of energy. She loves running around going for long walks and playing with her toys. Despite her high energy and enthusiasm for horsing around she s a quiet dog. She s not big on barking but will let out the occasionally Woof if she feels like she needs to protect you on a walk or gets very excited. However once she s all tired out she can be quite the couch potato. She loves to hop up next to you in bed or on a couch and just settle in for some quality cuddle and nap time. She adores people and isn t a huge fan of being alone. She would do best in a home with an active family (with older kids) and a fenced-in backyard to run around in. She can be crated if necessary but she prefers not to be. At 1st it would be best if she had pretty constant contact with her new family the most she would prefer to be left alone is 2 or three hours only....
