Pepper (9 years old) is a Domestic Short Hair Cat. Hello my name is Pepper I am approximately 9 years young and I have found myself here after only 6 months in my home because my new owner was not able to financially care for me. She got me off of Craigslist so my past is a bit of a mystery However since coming to the shelter I have already won over the hearts of the staff here with my extremely sweet personality and adorable looks According to my previous family I lived with children ages 9 and 18 as well as adults. I also lived with a dog and a fish. I was described as a shy quiet cat who likes to hide. However since coming to the shelter I have been quite outgoing with staff and volunteers Once you start petting me I melt right into your hands I love to be brushed and loved on. My previous family did mention that I do eventually become quite the lap cat once I warm up to you. I also love to use a scratching post.
