Watson (1 year old) is a Domestic Short Hair Cat. Hello dear my name is Watson Yes I am a girl kitty named Watson. I was named after the character in the Sherlock Holmes series. I lived in my home for 10 months my family but was brought here to find a family who could better suit my needs. I was brought here because I was having some litter box mistakes in my home. The shelter veterinarians checked me out and I was diagnosed with luxating patellas. Patellar luxation occurs when the my kneecap becomes dislocated from it s normal position when I walk. This condition can worsen with age so the veterinarians here have recommended that I have a surgery to correct this. My surgery would not be able to be scheduled until May at the very soonest so the staff is allowing me to be adopted and then come back for my much needed surgery. The shelter raised all of the money to cover my expensive surgery. It is suggested that I go to a home with no dogs or young children as I will need a calm household to recover in where I can feel safe and secure I have experience living with 2 dogs 1 other cat and a guinea pig. My previous human mom wrote a very long detailed letter about me which is enclosed behind this cage card. Please feel free to pull it out and read it. It has a lot of really good personal information about me I love to play with hair ties bottle caps and wine corks. I am incredibly sweet and affectionate with all humans.
