Ranger - Male German Shepherd Dog Mix

Ranger (7 years old) is a German Shepherd Dog Dog. This is Ranger and he is looking for his forever home. Ranger was transferred to our shelter from Emporia so we are still getting to know him and know nothing of his life before coming to us. Ranger has been a bit timid with our staff since his arrival but tolerant of handling. We will continue to update his information as we learn more about him. We do know that Ranger did not have a great start to life he is heartworm positive. This could have been prevented. Lucky for this sweet soul he can be treated and thanks to wonderful donors his heartworm treatment has been paid for Ranger is warming up nicely to all his friends at the shelter.
