Ben is a very sweet old man that is looking for a loving home to live out the rest of his days. Ben somehow ended up in a high-kill animal shelter in New Mexico but we were able to get him out just in time. He was very unsure of us at first but over a few weeks he grew to trust us and even became super playful for an old man Ben gets along really well with another dog that he came with but we haven t tested him with any other dogs. We d really like for him to go to a home with no dogs or with another senior dog so he won t have to worry about much. He has arthritis in his old age and doesn t like being jumped on or knocked down. Ben does get along well with cats though All Ben really wants is a comfy bed to sleep on and a human to love him.Ben is neutered heartworm negative microchipped and current on all vaccines so he is ready to become the newest member of your family.Our adoption process begins with you meeting Ben. After you fill out an application we will verify your references and do a brief home inspection. If all goes well we will deliver Ben to you for a small adoption fee. You will also have the option to purchase a large wire kennel for an additional fee. We then ask that you sign our adoption contract. We will do a follow-up visit approximately two weeks to one month after the adoption to insure that Ben is adjusting well to his new home and that he is happy and healthy.We feel our adoption process is the best way to vet good owners and to guard against people seeking dogs for dog fighting bait dogs and or dog sales.
