Apollo is a 1.5-year-old Siberian husky who needs a loving active home. He s about 45 pounds underneath all of the fluff. We don t think we did a good enough job last time emphasizing what a charmer Apollo is. He is very friendly happy and an all-around a great guy.Apollo doesn t know a stranger in humans. He likes to give hugs and kisses if allowed but more than that Apollo thinks all visitors to the house are there to play with him. He has been raised around children of all ages and is very gentle and trustworthy. Unfortunately Apollo has decided he doesn t want to play nicely with dogs he didn t grow up with He will now have to be an only dog in the home. We do not know how Apollo is with cats.Apollo is neutered up to date on shots heartworm negative and microchipped. He is solidly housebroken and crate trained but does experience some separation anxiety in the crate.With all of that information in mind here is what an ideal home for Apollo would look like. First and foremost someone who can keep Apollo entertained physically and mentally. Huskies need it and Apollo wants it. Secondly we would like for Apollo to have a fenced yard and by this we mean a 6ft privacy fence. Anything else (4ft chain link electric) won t contain him and gives people a false sense of security.
