Rainbow - Female Pit Bull Terrier Mix

Hello everyone I m Rainbow and my name describes my personality to a T as I m bright and cheerful I m a 6-month-old 52-pound Pit Bull mix. I m colorful like a rainbow too - my coat is a beautiful fawn and blue color. I came to the SPCA of Texas on May 1 because I didn t get along with the other pets in my former home. I can sometimes be picky about my canine friends so if you currently have a pet at home bring him by for a meet and greet with me so we can see how we all get along. Because of my age and activity level I might be a little too rough for a small dog. However my previous owners did want you to know how very sweet and happy I am. Volunteers say that I m a joy to be around. I m always in a good mood and love the company of humans. I m also a smart cookie - I know several commands including sit come down off and watch me. It also appears that I also know shake. I m pretty much totally housebroken and crate-trained thought I might need a little refresher after being in the shelter. I enjoy car-rides getting lots of pets head scratches and playing fetch. As you d expect for my age I have a lot of energy so I d be a great dog for someone active. I really enjoy going outside for walks so if you d like a running or walking buddy I m your girl. I enjoy treats and will take them very gently from your hand (I ll even sit and shake for them too ) I ve been spayed microchipped and have received all age-appropriate vaccinations.
