Hello there My name is Meeka and I am a year old. They say I am a coonhound heeler mix and I sure am cute I am very ready to find my forever home if you think I am the right one for you ask an Adoption Counselor to meet me.HOW DID I COME INTO HHHS I came to the shelter as a stray on 6 6 2016.HEIGHT 19 at the shoulder WEIGHT 36 lbs.HOW MUCH EXERCISE DO I NEED Regular exercise will keep me healthy happy and better behaved. I would love to go and explore the trails with you and maybe even go to the bark park Walking in new territories will help keep me mentally active as I smell the new smells DO I HAVE ANY SPECIAL TOYS I m sure I would love a tennis ball or maybe a frisbee to chase AM I A GOOD INSIDE DOG I prefer to be indoors with my family. But I am definitely a dog that loves to play and do things outside. I am always up for adventures and new places like going on hikes and possibly even going to the lake DO I LIKE CATS The breeds I m mixed with have a tendency to chase small fuzzy things so make sure your Adoption Counselor does a cat test with me if you have feline family members at home.DO I LIKE CHILDREN I think I would do best with children over 12. Make sure to bring the whole family in to meet with me if you think I might be the right one DO I LIKE OTHER DOGS I haven t had the chance to play with other dogs while here at the shelter.
