London - Female American Pit Bull Terrier Mix

London is back This girl is a wonderful companion definitely a people pleaser and snuggler too She is good with other dogs is indifferent to cats is crate trained but doesn t need to be and is housebroken too. She is a creature of habit and enjoys spending her days laying on a dog bed by the window of the front door and awaiting her person s return. She is making a repeat appearance to our adoption page one that was only made possible because of Friends of the Shelter. London was adopted from the Franklin County Dog Shelter as a happy healthy pup and returned a sad broken adult with some injuries which crippled her. That is until Friends of the Shelter pleaded to its followers to pitch in their extra pennies to fund London s two knee surgeries. London (and her foster mom) will be forever grateful for the help received to get her knees stabilized. She is doing very well with her recovery and is ready for a new home of her own but she her arthritis will require life long joint supplements and a special joint diet (estimated cost 100 month in addition to regular costs of routine care).
