I didn t want to get in the car when my foster got me. I was afraid of getting in the car because the last time I did my person pushed me out and left me in a strange place. It hurt to be abandoned and I didn t want to go through that again. Now I rather like riding in cars because I always go back to my foster where I know I am safe. I was very apprehensive for the first couple of weeks I was with my foster. I didn t know if they would be kind or hurt me again and I didn t really trust anyone in spite of the fact that I really wanted to. I wanted to trust that someone would love me like taking me places playing with me go for long walks with me and not yell at me when I did something wrong. No one ever taught me what made them happy or what I shouldn t do until I came to my foster. I ve started to learn things like walking nicely on a leash sitting down and laying down coming when called (although I already did that well). I love coming to my foster because I always get petted. I like knowing what I can and can t do. It makes me feel secure and cared for. It also makes me feel like I have a job and can be responsible. I like that. Now I just need someone I can be responsible to who will continue to teach me and love me and help me be the best I can. Will you be that person for me Atti is a sweet loving adolescent boy with all the playful energy of his puppyhood. He is starting to mellow out into his adulthood but still loves to play and roughhouse so would not be good around young children. He was never given boundaries or the job he craves. His ideal home will continue with his training to maintain his self esteem and keep him challenged. Atti will come with two or three free lessons with his trainer.... More Info
