Stop & smell the breeze smell the flowers (then pee on them). You get the point. Dakota is a 1 yr old Catahoula Leopard Dog Aussie Cattle Dog mix or so we believe. He is crate trained house trained and friendly with most other dogs (he needs dogs that can handle his high energy because he has a bundle of it ). Once physically & mentally wore out stimulated he will relax and he does love to snuggle so we re looking for a home that will allow affection. Dakota is VERY food motivated and knows basic commands. He needs a very active family one that loves to get outside & play go on walks or throw a ball. Dakota needs a yard to run in. He would also do great with older kids but may have too much energy for younger children. He s just a very happy guy. He appreciates this second chance he is getting at life & love. Dakota is in foster care in NC. He can be transported to MD or NJ for an approved adopter.
