Our rescue will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express Saturday June 18th and Sunday June 19th from 12-3pm. All of our dogs are spayed neutered shots current (DHPP Bordetella and Rabies where applicable) dewormed flea and tick treated and microchipped. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted. We do not ship our dogs for any reason. Our adoption fee is 400 for each dog puppy. We will also post at the end of the evening the names of those dogs who have been adopted -.--XX.- DPSRescueBuckles is a 1 year old Australian Shepherd mix. He weighs about 40lbs. Someone was asked by their friend to take care of him until they got settled in a new home and time went by and they never got settled and now this home is moving and the original home didn t want him back and now he s with us So our little guy who is no worse for the wear is looking for his lifetime home. No more part-time homes. Buckles has a fantastic personality. He gets along well with others. He currently lives with big and small dogs. He goes to doggy day camp. He went to the dog park. Yep he s a boy for all seasons.Buckles is high energy. He is a hiking biking running kind of dude. He s more of a compact size so that makes him easier to go with you and to scale hills run on the beach or off exploring the countryside. He s up for any adventure you offer him. He could also be a city boy who plays in Crissy Field. Buckles is a lover. He is ready to sweep you off your feet. Get ready He is also a pretty good watch dog as his foster family discovered. His first night half the family was home when he arrived and half was not. When the other half arrived and tried to come in the gated driveway oh he was not having that. Until they kept calling his name over and over and convinced him they really were family he was not letting them in. Once the rest of the family came out and he saw they were ok he was jumping all over offering his undying love. Good boy Buckles is an option for kids over the age of 8. He is an option for families who have had a dog in the last 3 years. Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend) If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it.
