Description Maverick is an energetic healthy 4 month old puppy He has beautiful brindle markings with a dark muzzle and the sweetest brown eyes.Personality As most puppies Maverick s age he is FULL of energy - and equally full of love He LOVES any kind of squeaky toy and gets super excited when someone plays tug-of-war with him With all the energy he spends playing and goofing around he needs his naps Which he prefers to take while snuggled up next to you while you watch TV or read a book. He is still working on potty training - but he knows he is supposed to go outside and is being worked with daily and should have be a perfect boy in no time. He has never messed his crate - which he sleeps in through the night - which is a HUGE step for a puppy Also concerning sleeping through the night he does so without hardly a peep His foster parents are very impressed with him in that area. ) He has got a GREAT bark even at his young age and could be a great watch dog for simply scaring away anyone who might not be dropping by for a friendly visit. With his supposed dominant breed being Akita his wary behavior toward other dogs especially male is not unusual. He wasn t too happy about his foster brother for the first hour or so but they didn t take too long to warm up to each other. He has been with children between the ages of six and thirteen and was an absolute sweetheart. The children loved him and he loved the attention they gave Maverick s foster home has allowed him to be exposed to living with two other dogs and two cats. He has done very well. He LOVES to be the center of attention however and would definitley love being the only fur baby in the home. Thankfully that leaves a lot of options for his new family - pets or no pets Maverick should adapt well He is looking for the perfect family that can give him the love and attention he craves and who will gladly accept his sweet and goofy personality.
