COURTESY POST FOR DISTINGUISHED DOBERMAN RESCUE -X -.--.- available-dobermans-miniature-pinschers Distinguished Doberman Rescue was asked to take a little yorkie mix from a puppy mill that could not walk and while that was the only information they were given they couldn t say no. Peyton was unable to walk at all when he came into rescue and the vet suspected head trauma. Luckily the other dogs in the foster home were able to get this guy moving and before we knew it he was chasing them around the room then the yard While that is great he does have limitations. Once he stops moving he falls to his side. He cannot stand on his own or sit up. His foster mom holds him up to eat and he lays on his side to drink from a low bowl. Peyton does not let his limitations stop him and the vet feels he could improve even more to the point he may have very few limitations.
