THIS WAS POSTED ON 6 25 16.Blue is a 2 year old 48 pound male brown and white pitbull. His original owner moved out of their home and left him tied up in the backyard in Marietta GA. An animal loving neighbor moved him over to their yard and began caring for him. Unfortunately this family is living in a small camper in a friends yard. The home on the property is condemned and empty. Blue was living tied with a rope to a tree with a dog house for shelter. It was a very sad situation. Blue s current owner does not have the means or space to care for him. They have 3 dogs 2 birds and a cat already in the camper with them. They reached out to Friends To The Forlorn Pitbull Rescue for help and we fully vetted Blue for them on 6 24 16. Blue is neutered current on vaccines dewormed and on monthly preventatives. Unfortunately Blue is heartworm positive and will require additional medical trement to treat him for heartworm disease. All treatment costs are financially covered. Treatment will be completed around 9 1 16. Blue gives kisses and hugs and is very well behaved. He is crate trained and housebroken. He knows some basic commands. We are in the process of testing him with other dogs and cats and will post an update soon. We do think that he would do great in a home with children.Blue is in desperately in need of a forever home. He is able to go to his new home now if the family is willing to care for him through his heartworm treatment (restricted activity crate rest).
