Currently in foster not at the Rowlett Animal Shelter. Inquires can contact the shelter for assistance in scheduling an appointment. Eddie (formerly Charley) is shy and a bit scared. Needs some sweet calm interaction even if it is holding him while he begins to learn to trust and relax. Eddie is heart worm positive however Friends of Rowlett Animals will sponsor his treatment. UPDATE 05 29 16 Eddie has started his heart worm treatment. UPDATE 06 28 16 Eddie has enjoyed his time among the chis at my house (plus one goofy terrier mix). He s not supposed to be active but that isn t an issue with Eddie. He s fairly chill. He sleeps in his own room with his chi foster siblings which h as direct access outdoors. He goes out from time to time to potty and check things out. Two of his favorite spots are in my lap when I m at the computer or at my feet in his little bed. He also enjoys a good movie with his family and lines up on the sofa with the rest of the doggie siblings. He hasn t discussed his past with me but it must have been fairly scary since he s a cautious boy. Once he gained our trust he decided he wanted to be right next to us. He hasn t had any accidents in my house but does have access outdoors with the other doggie kids. Eddie just likes to be with his human and get as much snuggle time as possible. He has gained much needed weight here and he now sports a shiny coat. He looks forward to finding his forever home in a quiet setting so he can live the life he was meant to live now that his heartworm treatment is over.
