Due to the advanced stage of his heartworm disease we have opted to treat him via the slow kill method. If adopted we will send Buddy home with a twelve month supply of heartworm preventative. He needs a family with a more sedentary lifestyle that just wants a cute little lap dog. What is my personality like Buddy is a sweet little couch potato. He wants nothing more than to curl up in the bed or in a lap and relax the day away. A perfect day for Buddy includes watching soap operas snuggled up on the couch a quick outing to store in your purse and then back home for movie night and popcorn. Although Buddy does get along well with other dogs he mostly keeps to himself and does not engage in play. He would do great with another low key dog like himself. Because of Buddy s heartworms he does not need a lot of exercise only a few quick potty breaks outside and Buddy much prefers to be inside anyway. Buddy is crate trained and he is very quiet and well behaved while in his crate. How I act when I first meet new people Buddy is a little shy but sweet to new people.House trained Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn t keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours.
