TopazHi I m Topaz I came to the Weber County Animal Shelter as a stray on 06 18 16 and am ready to be adopted I am an approximate 10-month-old unaltered male yellow Labrador Retriever and weigh approximately 45 pounds. I am a very high energy boy and pretty much a blank slate when it comes to training. I need help with walking on the leash not jumping up on people and basic obedience. It is important for me to have a medium sized fully fenced backyard to play in so I can burn off some my excess energy and not get bored. I would also benefit greatly from a 30-45 minute daily walk. I am still very much a puppy but I am smart and will catch on to things fast I just need someone to work with me. I would make an excellent dog for any active person or family with respectful children older than 8. After I have had some training I would be a great dog to take jogging camping or hiking I have very soft beautiful honey-colored fur and soulful gold eyes.
