Snow White - Female Domestic Shorthair Mix

I don t know why anyone would name a black cat Snow White but I guess my former owner must have had a sense of humor. I m a mature lady who is quiet affectionate friendly and very gentle and I m looking for calm and quiet home where I can spend my retirement years. I m looking for a new home because my former owner was being evicted from the home where he d lived for the past 11 years. He also was dealing with financial hardship which made it difficult to care for me or even buy enough food. He said that I take lots of naps and am not too active. I m used to living mainly outdoors although I was able to sleep in a shed. I shared my home with a dog and didn t hesitate to let the dog know who was the boss. If the dog left me alone I basically ignored her and so most of the time we peacefully coexisted. I ve always lived with two or three other cats and got along well because I am not an alpha type. My former owner said that in the right situation with loving people I would continue to be the sweet and friendly cat he has known all these years and all I need is someone who is willing to take a chance on an older cat because we really do have a lot to offer (DO)...
