Hello my name is Paige and I am an approximately one year old bundle of energy Foster mama says my energy level is high mostly because she thinks I am still a puppy And she says I should mention I am stubborn I am currently on crate rest at my foster home mom has an indoor playpen for me and I have to spend most of my time in it right now because I had these nasty things called heart worms. I had to go and get two injections they were ouchie but mama promises that I will be happy later that I got them. I am truly not enjoying my time in the playpen as I love love love to be outside running I really like to do zoomies I am completely house trained. I do very well in my playpen unless I hear other dogs barking or making too much noise and then I protest loudly I am still working on my leash manners you see I love all the smells outside when we go for a walk and I really want to get to all the smells before everyone else so I like to pull. When mama makes my leash shorter and keeps me right by her side I do much better. I have not been cat tested but when I go to the vet there are three that hang out in the waiting room and I have not tried to eat them mama says this is good. I live with six other dogs although right now we don t get a lot of interaction because I can t play yet. I prefer dogs the same size as me or smaller I am not a fan of dogs much bigger than me and express my dislike vocally. One of my favorite things to do is ride in the truck Every time we walk by the truck I try to get in Mama says I should really have a fence as my recall is not so good yet. We are working on that as well. I should probably not be in a house with small children as I am still learning to control my excitement and I may knock them over easily. She says I would do much better in a home as an only dog or with one other dog the same size as me or smaller. She says I really need to let you know that I need to have proper introductions with new dogs leash on leash until I calm down a bit and try not to squish them Did I mention I get very excited. I came into foster heart worm positive and have had my injections. I am currently not spayed but mama has made the appointment for me and this will be done before I go to my new home. I have to wait a full six weeks after my injections before I can have this done I love love love to curl up and snuggle in your lap I really like to be touched. I will need a family with a lot of energy once we work on the leash together I would be a great running partner but I will need someone with a lot of patience to work with me on my puppy like behaviors.
