Red is a lovely 2-year-old retriever mix with a short coat. He was brought to us as a stray and based on our dog trainer s behavioral assessment we think Red is somewhat reactive to other dogs when walking through our kennels and he climbs fences. He guarded rawhides he was given during his testing so we think he d do best in a home with children at least 12 years old our standard recommendation for dogs who don t want to share. However we believe Red is a good-natured dog who will shine when provided the stability of a home.
