Strawberry ShortcakeHi The staff at the Weber County Animal Shelter named me Strawberry Shortcake. I came to the shelter on 06 17 16 as a stray and am ready to be adopted I m an approximate 5-year-old unaltered female Red Heeler and weigh a healthy 44 pounds. I am a sweet and very well behaved lady. I have excellent leash manners I do not jump up on people and appear to be house trained. I m not much of a barker in the shelter but I do check out what s around me. I seem to be a little interested in fetch and maybe when the weather cools down I ll want to play more. I love people especially when they give me attention I seem to get along with the other dogs in the shelter it is unknown how I well I would get along with a cat. I d be an excellent dog for any active person or family with children over the age of 8 because it is in my nature to herd and I may nip smaller children at their heels trying to keep them together. It would also be best that I have at least a medium sized fully fenced yard so I can get some exercise and keep from getting bored. I would greatly benefit from a 20-30 minute daily walk too.
