We partner with a local rescuer in Pickens County SC who saves adoptable cats and dogs from the county s animal control facility which lacks the resources to facilitate adoptions to the public. Without a mechanism for local adoptions all animals not claimed within the mandated hold period are euthanized. For the animals in this rural area rescue is really the only lifeline.
