He is an energetic and affectionate people-lover who likes to follow you around and sit at your feet for rubs. He knows basic commands like sit and stay but still has a lot to learn and needs a best friend who can give him the time and attention he deserves. If you are looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with love Dan s your guy. However he s not so good with other dogs and needs to be an only pet. Prospective adopters must agree to a home visit have secure fencing and allow their dog to sleep inside at night. Those coming from out of town may submit a vet reference in place of a home visit. All renters need landlord approval.If you already have a dog or two they must be spayed neutered and brought to the shelter for a meet and greet. Homes that already have than two dogs or any unaltered dogs will not be considered.
