Sam came to us from North Carolina when his owner fell and broke her hip and could no longer take care of him. He was turned in to the shelter by a family member who could not find anyone to give him a home. Sam is a sweet sweet boy who is settling in nicely in his foster home and is truly enjoying the comforts of home. He has chosen a favorite chair chews on his new bone rolls in the grass and even covers himself with the blanket when it s time for bed Calm gentle and reserved with moments of silliness that s how we describe Sam. He is housebroken happy to spend time in his crate walks very nicely on leash and rarely barks. He is still shy with new people and new situations but with time and patience should come around. Sam is a sweet soul who is hoping for a new family to share his twilight years with. A home without small children would be best for Sam.
