ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter all pets are in volunteer foster homes. My name is Dreamy - I am about 8 years old 25 lbs and a super sweetheart I was surrendered to a shelter because my owner could not care for me anymore and ARPO came and picked me up. They think I am maybe a Jack Russell Beagle mix but who knows I do know that I have super cute ears and these really cool spots. I am very easy going and I get along great with humans dogs AND cats. I am pretty calm and quiet in general however when you get the leash out when you come home from work or when it s dinner time I get very excited and hop up and down. A few days after ARPO rescued me they noticed that sometimes I was having seizures. I am now on phenobarbital and my seizures are infrequent. I will need to take this medication on an ongoing basis. If you are interested in me please fill out a prequalification form and my foster mom would be happy to talk to you more about this. I take my pills very easily - just hide it in something tasty and I will swallow it right down. My foster mom says that there surely must be a special adopter out there just for me. I am house-trained and crate trained my foster mom crates me while she is at work but I just sleep on a dog bed in the bedroom at night without any problems.
