We would love to help you rescue a perfect pet During his neutering surgery Finnegan was found to have early onset cataracts which can be devastating to the life of a shelter kitten. The questions become many faceted Who would adopt such a kitty Who would give this boy a chance at a good quality of life Who would be willing to take on the possible and frankly probable medical costs associated with this disease Who would be willing to tolerate the possible loss of vision or worse loss of his eyes With so many wonderfully healthy adoptable kittens out there this time of year does Finnegan really have a savior somewhere Today we at the Virginia Beach Animal Care and Adoption Center asked ourselves those questions over and over again. We racked our brains looking for answers but came up empty. Our shelter does not have the facilities to do this surgery and he cannot remain in foster care forever. This boy deserves a home with a real dedicated family that will love him and care for him no matter what. Finnegan is only 3 months old already neutered microchipped and up to date on his shots. He is a sweet boy quick to purr and snuggle in your arms but because of his decreased eyesight he tends to hiss at new things. He has been in foster care for weeks and has been exposed to other cats and kittens. He is ALL BOY quick to run all over the foster room and play with the other kittens.
