Zoie - Female Yorkie Yorkshire Terrier

Zoie is a sweet 7 year-old Yorkie. She arrived in rescue from a commercial breeding facility --- scared matted and filthy. Even though she had to be completely shaved down her hair has grown quickly and she is now a beautiful Yorkie. In her foster home she is learning about love and trust. She has gone from cowering in the corner of her kennel to greeting people with tail wags and happy dances. She enjoys being petted and especially enjoys ear scratches. She likes all people that she has met including children but she is a bit shy at first. She enjoys being with other dogs and may do best in a home where there is another dog for company. Zoie has not yet met a cat. Zoie is still learning her house manners but her foster mom reports that she is now partially housetrained. Zoie needs a calm forever home with someone who will continue to patiently teach her about love and trust kindness and pampering. The suggested donation amount for Zoie is 350 which is TAX DEDUCTIBLE and goes toward providing supportive services to animals in the home as well as the high cost of vetting our dogs in rescue.
