She was emaciated and it was even unclear what breed she might be. She was assigned a body score of 1 which is the worst score given to underweight dogs. Everyone was surprised at Hattie s energy level and that she was even still walking on her own. Clearly she is a survivor and in spite of not being treated well she has found something redeeming about this life and has chosen to stick around. Hattie is good with dogs cats and kids. She likes to snuggle on the couch and desires strongly to be with humans but perhaps out of habit she sleeps at a distance. We recommend children 10 and older for Hattie just because she may find smaller children and toddlers overwhelming. Hattie will do best in a home with a companion dog. Hattie has gained enough weight to go to an adoptive home and only need to gain about 2 more pounds to get her to an ideal weigh of 9lbs.Adoption includes vaccinations spay and microchip. Current on heartworm preventative and flea preventative.
