He protected his territory as would be expected. No bite was sustained no flesh was broken but she insisted on filing a potentially dangerous dog restraining order with animal control. The animal control officer reluctantly served me as she had no choice and recognized that it was undeserved. We do not want Hugs to be at risk of being eauthanized should he ever get out again.Hugs is an 80 lb. high energy Alpha male who gets along well with other animals with whom he resides and deserves the name we gave him. We rescued him from a local shelter a year ago and he has endeared himself to the family. He s very loving and lovable and is great with kids. As he will bear this potentially dangerous label in Riverside County CA for the rest his life it seems best that he be placed somewhere where he will not be at riskPlease consider a donation to PBRC.
