Duke is a 1 year old neutered male bloodhound who weighs 125 lbs. Duke was rescued from a local shelter after being dumped off by his owners because he was too rough with their kids. Well considering the fact that Duke is a 125 pound puppy it was quite obvious to us after only a minute with a child that this was completely false. Duke is a HUGE puppy so will obviously need a strong owner - but he s been nothing but sweet and loving to everyone he s met kids included since we ve had him in our care. Duke is a happy-go-lucky goofy puppy He s smart well-behaved and eager to please his people. Duke bonds strong with his people and can be protective at times. Duke is wonderful with other dogs - both large and small- and he enjoys running and exploring outside.
