Wally is an adoptable dog being fostered in Houston TX. He is available for out-of-state adoptions. Looking for a really chill easy-going friendly guy who ll be able to fit right into your household Do you like the low-rider types I may be your guy. Here s what my foster mom says about me I LOVE being petted - I just cannot get enough of that I also love hanging out with you - I can help prepare dinner do laundry or watch TV. I m not a big loner so anything I get to do with you is great. Going for walks is fun and I m learning my leash manners. I don t bark at other dogs or people however I am interested in getting to know cats and would really like to catch up with one I HAVE a very low-key go-with-the-flow personality. We can hang out and watch a movie I can keep take a nap at your feet while you work or I can take a nap if you want to do the same. Walks are fun but I m good with a stroll around the back yard as well. You know what else...I stand PERFECTLY STILL for my bath - it doesn t phase me at all I GET ALONG WITH adults kids and other dogs of all sizes. In my foster home I shared the space with 5 other dogs ranging from 7 to 85 pounds male and female.I WOULD RATHER NOT be by myself if you re around. If you need to leave I m fine in my crate but am ready to get out as soon as you re back I NEED some leash training basic obedience and someone to call my own. My first foster mom said that I was her shadow and something about being a very loyal friend.I AM crate trained and 75% house trained. I was not taught how to wine or scratch at the back door so you ll need to teach me the & quot secret sign& quot or how to use a dog door. I am also short in stature but do not have & quot small dog syndrome& quot . I am a lean and compact but am also quite strong (not to brag). I do not feel the need to bark and yap at everything I see or hear. In fact my foster mom said I was the quietest dog she d ever had A PERFECT DAY FOR ME INCLUDES sleeping at your feet lots of ear scratches and to leisurely lie around with a chew toy. I m also up for a game of chase once in a while...especially if a squeaky toy is involved. I PREFER NOT TO be picked up - it makes me a little nervous. I won t snap or anything I just am unsure of what s going on. In time I may learn that it s a good thing. IF YOUR FAMILY would enjoy a low-key dog that enjoys the company of humans (of all ages) and a moderate level of play I m your guy.
