They call me Benny I am one happy pup And here is why I am so happy. I discovered belly rubs. The more you ignore me the more I want them I love playing. I like to be mischievous and play hide and seek by hiding under the deck and getting you to look for me. Kongs and bones are amazing and the more the better. I chase balls and am learning tug of war with rope toys. Wrestling with other dogs is awesome and I am really good at it. And laps. Laps are my favorite. I can sit in a lap forever as long as you pet me. How can you not be happy when you have all those things I am almost potty trained and have learned from the other dogs to go to the bathroom outside. I like to potty where they potty. Sometimes I will start to play instead of going to the bathroom - so much excitement. Hanging out in my crate during the day is no problem and I get a nice potty and play break midday. Sometimes I am a little Houdini and can wiggle out of my collar or harness you might need to keep an extra set of eyes on me as I get used to these objects I ve never seen before. I am like a doggie magician My foster family is teaching me so much. They are helping me build trust. And they are showing me this thing they call a leash and hook it up to me. I m not a huge fan right now but I know that the more I am around it the more I will like it I will need a fenced yard until I figure this leash thing out and because they are so fun to run and play in Basically I am a little sponge and soaking in as much as I can. I would love to soak up your love if you d like to give me some. FOSTER CARE All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal s behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves.
